Glowing Hive is a proud Canadian company with a mission to produce local, natural, and eco-friendly beeswax products for our surrounding communities. We are located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, in the beautiful seaside town of Qualicum Beach.

At Glowing Hive we support local small businesses whenever possible because we believe in contributing to our local communities. We source high quality, natural beeswax from other local apiaries within Canada to create our beeswax candles. We pride ourselves on delivering premium candles to our customers by using the highest quality ingredients and hand crafting each small batch to perfection. A love for bees

As a former beekeeper herself, owner and operator Jeni holds a true love and fascination for bees of all kinds. Here at Glowing Hive, we believe in treating bees with the utmost respect, because they play such a vital role in our own well-being. Bees are critical pollinators, they pollinate 70 of the roughly 100 crop species that feed 90% of the world. Without pollination, our food crops would take a dramatic hit, and our diets would be significantly diminished and far less nutritious.

Every spring, we plant hundreds of pollinator friendly flowers at our homestead to support the natural bee population that thrives in our ecosystem. We believe every flower counts, and helps to aid in creating more green spaces and food sources for native bees and domesticated honeybees.

Every time we order local beeswax, we are directly supporting local beekeepers who can then expand their efforts to care for more bees. We only use 100% Canadian beeswax to ensure we are always supporting our local economy.
